ICIT Seerah Conference
Colombo, Sri Lanka, June 16-18, 2000
The Institute of Contemporary Islamic Thought (ICIT) convened an International Seerah Conference in Sri Lanka from June 16-18, 2000, to discuss the issues raised in Dr Kalim Siddiqui's landmark research-proposal paper 'Political Dimension of the Seerah' (ICIT, 1998). The conference was held in co-operation with Crescent International, the newsmagazine of the Islamic movement, and the Al-Islam Foundation in Sri Lanka.
