The Islamic movement: between
extremism and moderation

Dr Kalim Siddiqui was an intellectual and a leader of the global Islamic movement. He was founder of the Muslim Institute, London, and the Muslim Parliament of Great Britain, and author of several books and papers contributing to Muslim political thought.

To mark the 10th anniversary of his death in South Africa on April 18, 1996, the Institute of Contemporary Islamic Thought and Crescent International convened a Memorial Conference in London on the theme The Islamic movement: between extremism and moderation.

There were also videos of speeches by Dr Kalim SIddiqui, an exhibition on his life and work, and a bookstall.
